San Marino is one of the oldest republics in the world. The capital is located on Mount Titano and is famous for the medieval old town surrounded by stone walls and for the small streets and districts on which overlook the palaces and monuments and from which you can admire all the hinterland of Romagna. On the upper part of Mount Titano rise the three famous Towers, reachable through a panoramic walk along the ridge of the mountain. Its historic centre and Mount Titano have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
